        • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses at an occupational health clinic
        • Manage casework including work restrictions and return-to-work evaluation for adult patients
        • Perform procedures such as joint and tendon aspirations, injections, splinting, suturing, and vaccinations
        • Interpret diagnostic tests like PFTs, labs, and imaging
        • Collaborate with the occupational health team on case management and patient care plans
        • Support injury documentation and workers' compensation case management
        • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulationsWhat You Need

          • Required:
            • Active Michigan Nurse Practitioner license
            • Board Certification in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
            • DEA certification
            • BLS and DOT/FMCSA certifications
            • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience recommended

            • Preferred:
              • Experience with occupational injury management, musculoskeletal procedures, and return-to-work assessmentsAbout the Assignment
                This role supports an occupational health unit dedicated to managing work-related injuries and illnesses. You will work closely with clinical staff to ensure patient care and compliance during a busy period at a meat packing plant, supporting adult patient populations with varied occupational health needs.
